Weed Wife Print
Weed Wife, originally painted as a love-song to the plants of Dartmoor, this painting in oils on burr oak has become beloved to many herbalists, plantfolk, hedge-scourers over the years since I painted it.
This painting seems also to have touched some gentle yet powerful part of many women who have seen it, bringing tears to their eyes. I can't explain why this might be because I don't really know, though I was very moved to hear it had this effect. Some kind of plant-song must come out of it, revivifying a deep and long-held wild knowing.

Printed on 100% recycled 285gsm (card weight) parchment-coloured Context Birch paper for a beautiful quality warm and earthy print. On the back is printed the title and details of the image along with Rima's mark.
The last picture shows you the image most clearly; though the actual paper background is cream/off-white which gives the image an added warmth, as you can see in the first photos.
WEED WIFE is available in three sizes: A4 (11.7" x 8.27"), 7" x 5" and A3 (16.5" x 11.7") - the only difference between them is the size.
It will come packed carefully in a non-plastic cornstarch transparent sleeve and a sturdy envelope (or rolled, in the case of the A3 print.)
