Breadboard Erzulie Print
Here is the Black Madonna: ancient, holy, wide-hipped, dark-skinned, scar-faced, milk-giving goddess holding her sun-child. Inspired by Polish Orthodox icons and Haitian Voudou, and above all by motherhood, this peasant-saint painted on a breadboard is strong giver of sustenance, and protector of mothers.
Print from an original oil painting on a wooden breadboard.
Printed on 100% recycled 285gsm (card weight) parchment-coloured Context Birch paper for a beautiful quality warm and earthy print. On the back is printed the title and details of the image along with Rima's mark.
The last picture shows you the image most clearly; though the actual paper background is cream/off-white which gives the image an added warmth, as you can see in the first photos.
BREADBOARD ERZULIE is available in two sizes: A4 (11.7" x 8.27") and 7" x 5" - the only difference between the two is the size.
It will come packed carefully in a non-plastic cornstarch transparent sleeve and a sturdy envelope.
