Echad - Original Painting

This was painted in oils on a beautiful piece of spalted willow in 2021.

The title - a Hebrew word - means "one" or "oneness" but holds within it a multitude. It describes something like a compound unity, but I think the sense that it conjures is more mystical and far-reaching than those definitions can express. I hope the painting does this far better.
