Madonna of the Apocalypse Print
Praising the dark mother inside the earth and the roots and the stars and the space between the cells of all beings. May she sit enthroned and resplendent and honoured once again: giver of breastmilk to the fawns and light to the heavens, connected by an umbilical crescent to us all: mother to child to mother to child. May we sit at her holy brown feet and remember again what really matters.
Print from an original painting in oils on deerskin vellum made in 2018.
Printed on 100% recycled 285gsm (card weight) parchment-coloured Context Birch paper for a beautiful quality warm and earthy print. On the back is printed the title and details of the image along with Rima's mark.
The last picture shows you the image most clearly; though the actual paper background is cream/off-white which gives the image an added warmth, as you can see in the first photos.
MADONNA OF THE APOCALYPSE is available in two sizes: A4 (11.7" x 8.27") and 7" x 5"
It will come packed carefully in a non-plastic cornstarch transparent sleeve and a sturdy envelope.
